Pary Poker Full Review
Game Variety, Limits, and Traffic: A
Empire Poker was recently acquired by the largest online poker room,
Party Poker. Because it is a skin of Party Poker, it will come with all
the players and tournaments offered on the parent site. On average, 14,000 ring game
players and 50,000 tournament players are on Empire Poker during peak
hours. Traffic is definitely Empire Poker's strength. Empire Poker
constantly offers full tables in Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card
Stud, and 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo. Stakes range from $.10/$.25 to $10/$20 in
No Limit and $.50/$1 to $100/$200 in Fixed Limit.
Software: A+
Empire Poker's software is currently superb. Modeled after Party Poker's
new upgrade, it is packed with tons of new features that
are unmatched by any other poker client. Resizable tables make for easy
multitabling. An automatic tile button can be used to automatically fit as
many tables as possible onto your screen. Other great features include
side bets, black jack, and the ability to offer a chop at any stakes
tournament. This is extremely convenient so that you don't have to wait
for support to come arbitrate the agreement like at PokerStars. The
software is clean and quick, and very functional. The only complaint I
have is the annoying "Congratulations" graphic and sound that follows every
pot you win; luckily, this horrible feature can be turned off.
Softness of Games: A
If anyone ever asks where soft games are, the automatic response is
Party Poker. Empire shares these players as and as a result, the site is
teeming with the many fish of hte sea. The sheer volumes of players who have
no idea what they are doing act as a never ending bonus or promotion. I
personally was drawn into the game because of Empire's great promotions.
I highly recommend playing at Empire Poker full time as any decent player
can come out with nice returns.
Promotions: A+
The Party/Empire Poker bonus is the fastest clearing bonus online. Every
player online should at least do this bonus as they will find it well
worth their time. Any player can clear the bonus in about 8 hours at
one table. Playing multiple tables decreases this time drastically.
However, I would recommend playing here for more than this bonus. The
money is quick and easy to come by. Empire Poker also has one of the
top VIP programs, along with PokerStars and Party Poker. Frequent players receive
offers from the Empire Poker adminstration, some worth several thousand
dollars. It is not difficult to be offered these promotions, most
semi-regular players at least get offered to get something. Empire Poker
also offers various reload bonuses and freerolls, as well as a huge bad
beat jackpot. Overall, Empire Poker is highly recommended.
Deposits/Withdrawals: A+
Empire Poker accepts deposits from VISA, MasterCard, NETeller, FirePay,
Western Union, Citadel, eChecks (by iGM-Pay), bank draft, cashier's check,
money order, and check. Cashouts are made .to Cash out options: NETeller,
wire transfer, check, and eChecks. The average NETeller cashout time is
excellent, taking about 3 hours.
Support: A
Empire Poker's support may be its only weak spot. With so many players
to help, Empire Poker's response time is not the best. On average, they
respond by email in about 3 hours, but always have a 24/7 phone line open.
They are also starting a new system in which top VIPs have access to higher
priority support.
