Noble Poker Full Review
Game Variety, Limits, and Traffic: B-
Noble Poker is part of the iPoker network. The games here are limited
to Hold 'em, Omaha Hi, and Omaha H/L. No Limit is offered for Hold 'em,
and Pot Limit and Fixed Limit is offered for all games. The games range
from $.02/.04 to $50/$100 for fixed limit and $.01/.$.02 to $10/$20 for
No Limit. One feature that Noble Poker has is "Jackpot Sit-n-Go's". See
Promotions below for details. The traffic at Noble Poker is somewhat
light, capping at about 1,500 ring game players and 2,500 tournament
players at peak hours.
Software: A
The software at Noble is packed with tons of useful features. At the
table, there is the standard chat window that has the option of all the
actions of the dealer, complete with graphics of the cards dealt. The
stats feature is among the most complete of any poker room and is actually
very helpful in determining how you are playing at each table. The
history is also very easy to use and is organized in images rather than
wordy descriptions. Large bet warnings and four color decks are offered,
but are purely optional. The only drawback here is that the appearance
of an all-in button is defaulted. Luckily, you can disable this horrible
option and capitalize on other's mistakes when they are multitabling .
Perhaps the best feature of the software is the ability to add people to
your 'friends list' by adding them as a buddy in your note-taking area.
Although I never added a single friend to my list, this feature coupled
with the search feature helped me to make considerable amounts of money
by helping me find my 'buddies'.
Softness of Games: B
The competition at Noble Poker and the other iPoker skins benefit
greatly from the traffic that come from the partner online casinos.
These players generally have the money to play online poker, but lack
the element of skill. The overall players here are overly tight at the
short handed tables but will make the occasional mistimed call. I have
personally found that moderately aggressive play yields the best results
against these players.
Rakeback: A-
The overall rakeback totals at Noble are smaller than other rooms
at the same percentage. This 'disadvantage' comes from the fact that
Noble Poker does not rake as much as other rooms. This is very good for
the player; the limit tables have a $1 max rake and the short handed tables
have their max-rake totals lowered to $1 for tables with 2 or 3 players
and $2 for tables with 4 or 5. Overall, tighter players will find that
Noble Poker offers the best rakeback totals out of all rakeback
programs.
Promotions: A
The deposit bonus at Noble Poker is among the largest offered online.
However, it is difficult to clear the entire bonus before the bonus becomes
inactive (90 day time limit). It is a pretty slow clearing bonus, clearing
$10 for every 500 Stars that are earned. Up to 8 Stars are earned based on
the rake of each pot, 1 Star for a pot raked $.25 and 8 Stars for a pot
raked over $2. It is possible to clear much of the bonus at lower stakes,
however, it will probably take a good while. Noble also offers freerolls
up to $10,000 in their VIP program. In order to qualify for these
freerolls, you must average a certain number of Stars every month.
For example, players who average 5000 Stars monthly qualify for the $5,000
freeroll. Noble also offers "Jackpot Sit 'n Go's" in which players earn up
to $30,000 for winning up to 6 consecutive SnGs. Consolation prizes worth
up to $750 are also available for finishing in the top 2 in 6 tournaments
in a row.
Deposits/Withdrawals: B
Noble Poker has many deposit options: VISA, MasterCard, NETeller,
Citadel, FirePay, Moneybookers, InstaCash, InstaDebit, EcoCard, UseMyBank,
wire transfer, bank draft and personal check. Cashouts are available to
NETeller, FirePay, Moneybookers, InstaDebit, EcoCard, bank draft express,
and wire transfer. The average NETeller cashout time is 1-2 days.
Support: C+
Noble Poker support is about average. They do offer decent email
support and operate a 24/7 free telephone support system.
